SPECIFICALLY what text do you want to remove? I have never heard of a "connecting line image" before.

There is no text in your image because you have one flattened layer. There are only pixels.

When you recreate this, be sure to keep a layered file so you don't face this issue again.

This is not a bug in Photoshop; it's how images on one layer work. I've moved your post from Bugs to Discussions. Your choice is to edit the pixels to replace them or to recreate the image. Simply removing the pixels will leave your Background color, which is white by default. That's not what you want.

To remove that lettering in this image, you will need to recreate the background.

You will have to recreate the background or get a copy of the original without the text.

As I stated, there's no other way to remove the lettering on this image without recreating background, which would be easier and more effective than the way you are trying at present.

No. Maybe you could just use your own art?
