Hello, there are thousands of pictures available as below. There are transparent gaps on the edges of all of them. Also every picture is a little crooked. How can I crop according to the transparent parts of the picture? I'm going to automate this, so it has to be appropriate.

It’s not strictly relevant, but who created them that way and why?

Please try File > Automate > Crop & Straighten

i tried this before. but i also need a rotate. this is a cadastral map published by the state. I need to correct and crop these cadastral maps in order to be able to place them on the map without any problems. actually it seems very simple, but I tried for hours and couldn't get any results. It is necessary to crop the picture and correct its orientation by reference to the transparent areas. so I thought having a reference point would make the job much easier.

Crop & Straighten Photos should rotate the content.

Please provide sample images.

I downloaded the picture which I uploaded and tried it, it worked. But I think the site I use for upload is changing the quality. It does not work in the original file, but after uploading and downloading it works. I hope the same thing won't happen if I upload it from here.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I noticed this. This script works fine on some files. On some it doesn't fix the rotation. I've attached the file I'm having trouble with. Since there are thousands of files, I thought I would have the same problem in all of them.

Looks like slightly sloppy clipping.

Though removing the extending lines does not seem to alleviate the problem, so the image may just be a bad fit and you may have to manually rotate it (with the Ruler Tool’s »Straighten Layer« for example).

Another option could be the Geometry correction of the Camera Raw Filter.
