I've been looking for a way to turn off the shortcuts for weeks. all search results are about how to use them.

I have a language input switch shortcut that I've been using for DECADES. And with recent photoshop update, (honestly I have no idea how recent, but at leaset ps 2020) , my input switch shortcut keeps turning my layer blend mode to hard mix. It's really annoying and slowed down my work speed significantly.

can anyone show me where I can find that shortcut setting and turn it off?

Thanks in advance!

I am afraid that the hodgepodge of customizable and non-customizable shortcuts in Photoshop is a bit of a problem for some of us, particularly users with non-english keyboards.

And I think that this one (alt-shift-L) belongs to the ones one cannot customize in Photoshop.

yes, anything start with alt-shift may lead to the problem. In my case I notice not only L but V M and whole bunch of others can turn my layer into hard mix.

Thanks so much for your reply and help!

Hi @pixelbelle ,

I'm afraid @c.pfaffenbichler is right on this one. Super frustrating, I know.

I'm aware the Ps team follow this thread.
