HUD color picker keyboard shortcut "command option control" stopped working in Photoshop 2022

Recently had to erase my HD (2019 MacPro) and do a new install of Sequoia. I was running Sonoma and PSD 2022 for two years at least and this keyboard shortcut worked great. I'm a professional illustrator and it was crucial to my work flow. While using the brush tool I hold down command option control and the color wheel popped up under the cursor for super quick color selections "on the fly".

So I reasoned if I reinstalled 2022 I'd be back in business. I was able to reinstall PSD 2022 (FYI,  this shortcut was "broken" in subsequent releases of PSD. I actually installed 2023 and 2025 and confirmed it and so did others on forums). I launched 2022 this morning and was dismayed to discover that shortcut does not work.

I'm at a loss as to what the heck is going on and also very disappointed that probably the most crucial shortcut I used in my daily work flow is gone.

I'm trying out Magic Picker (https://anastasiy.com/magicpicker) currently to see if it could utilize a similiar ketboard shortcut or hot key to achieve the same thing.

I could not replicate the issue. 

go to edit => general and try changin Color picker to Appl/adobe  - Hud color picker to different options as shown in the screenshot below. if that does not work, Click the button " reset Preferences on Quite " and relunch the application.

Mohammad, thanks for your reply and suggestions. None of them helped unfortunately. So bizarre, as the keyboard shortcut does function correctly when using my 2021 M1 Macbook Pro laptop running Sequoia and PSD 2022 version 23.4.1

I noticed my version installed on my MacPro was version 23.0.0 So I thought maybe that's the "variable" or "fly in the ointment". I then copied all the PSD app files and folders from the laptop to the MacPro and launched PSD but still could not get it to work. Frustrating when there isn't a logical explanation. Thansk again.
