I am getting a random red menu bar since I updated to Sonoma. I am using an iMac

I use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom Classic.

I work in tandem either between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, or Photoshop and Illustrator/InDesign etc.

I could be working, and all of the sudden the top menu turns red all the way across my screen, or only where the date/time is when I switch applications. Very weird behavior.

This started after the Apple update to Sonoma. What is causing this, and how do I stop it.

Thank you.

Hi!

Have you checked your Graphics Processor? Open Preferences and choose Performance, uncheck Use Graphics Processor, and hit ok, and restart Photoshop. If that doesn't fix the problem then you can go back and check the box again. If it does fix the issue, then you might want to see if your GP has an update.

Here is some helpful information about Graphic Processors:

Let us know if that helps, or if you are still having the issue?

Hi,

I disabled that and it seems to be fine...Hasn't done it yet. I do hope Apple fixes this.

Thank you.

I appears to be a known issue that affects not just Adobe apps.
