App version : 24.1

Windows 11 Family.

I was working with Lightroom CC. I wanted to continue editing my photo with Photoshop. For a while it was working until somehow, it was impossible to modify my photo in Adobe Photoshop 2023.  I am kind of surprised so I'm thinking that maybe I should directly launch the app that is downloaded in the Creative Cloud Desktop as I always do.

No matter what I do :

- Click to launch the app,

- Turn on / off my computer

- Task Manager

- Uninstall it / Install it

- Update the app.

Absolutely nothing works, the app can't be launched anymore.

Could someone help me ?

Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (macOS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. Does that option appear?

You can try uninstalling Photoshop using the Adobe Creative Cloud application, then use it to reinstall; better?

Also you can try right-click the application icon and choose "Run application as administrator".

Hi @MS_214 sorry to hear this.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you,

Cory
