I can't set up multiple images in tabbed panels in photoshop CC (do not have this problem in PS5 or 6). Has anyone had this problem with CC and if so do they know the fix?

I just got off the phone with someone at Adobe and he found my problem. My

bar (the one that gives you different options depending on the tool you're

using) above where the tabs panel is was "floating" so it hid the tabs

panel - so I just needed to click in back and now both bars show!

The button has been eliminated.  Try the Window - Arrange menu to get the same functionality.

When I go to the arrange menu there is no option that gets the images tabbed so I can easily know what images are open and switch quickly among them.

You can go to Window>Arrange>Consolidate All to Tabs

Maybe you really want Photoshop>Preferences>Interface>Open Documents as Tabs

Thanks, but I've done both of those and neither works.

Hello! Are you in Full screen mode? (hit F several times to switch)

Can you post a screenshot with the edit>preferences>interface menu showing?

I'd try to recreate the preferences if nothing else works.

I just discovered something really weird. If I open the images in

photoshop (and the tabs are not showing) and then open another window on

top of photoshop (for example word or safari) , then the images and tabs

show in the photoshop window. But if I move Pshop to the front screen then

the tabs disappear!
