I have a problem with old versions of Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan) and Photoshop cc 2017. I have been subscribing to the Adobe deal of £9.98 a month for the past few years.
I have just restored my Mac from a Time Machine back up and on opening my version of Photoshop I am being offered a 7 day free trial. Nowhere does it allow me to use my paid for version of Photoshop.
It does allow me to contact Adobe which I have done. They tell me that as my operating system and my version of Photoshop are no longer supported by them that I cannot use them, in spite of the fact that I have an up to date subscription. Prior to the Time Machine back up everything was working perfectly. How can I restore what I had?

Hi @patricke1838819 first off, restoring software from Time Machine is tricky and unstable at best.
First make sure you are logged in to your application with the correct Adobe ID that is connected to the subscription.

If none of the options work you could uninstall the PS software cleanly using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool

then reinstall 2017 from this link:
