I have Photoshop CS, Version 8. My computer crashed and Adobe will not activate.

I have Photoshop CS, Version 8.  My computer crashed and Adobe will not activate.  If I cannot get it activated, then I will file a Small Claim law suite and report Adobe to the CA State Attorney General.
