Hello! I just installed the latest version of Photoshop. While I am in a text box and have my font selected, I try to make the font larger, and it only stays at the same size. I can't enlarge it. I can enlarge it if I select a font prior to putting text in the text box. That option doesn't work for me since I have different sizes of fonts in my text box. I tried AI help, but AI couldn't come up with a fix.
Will someone please help me?
Just to be clear, do you have the text selected with the Type tool [highlighted]?
Thank you for your response. I realized that I was using a reused template over and over again. And the text box stopped working for me. I then figured out that I needed a new text box. All went well.
Thank you and I hope you have a very nice season!

I think that was the problem! Not sure, but so far it is working! Thank you so much, Semaphoric.

I have the text highlighted; today the highlighting of the font in the text box isn't working. 😞

Hi @SharShar760,
Thanks for the update. Since highlighting the text and adjusting the font size worked briefly and then stopped, we’ll need a bit more information to understand what is happening on your system.
• Please share a short screen recording showing the whole Photoshop window as you select the Type tool, highlight the text, and attempt to change the font size.
This will help us determine whether the issue is tool-related, selection-related, or UI-related.
• Make sure Photoshop is updated to version 26.1.
• If possible, try testing the same steps with a fresh blank document to confirm whether the issue is tied to a specific file.
Once we can see what is occurring on your screen, we’ll be able to provide the next steps or escalate it to the product team if needed.
We are looking forward to your recording so we can help you resolve this issue.
Best,
Anshul Saini
