ICC Profile Showing in ColorSync and in Finder, but not in Photoshop

Hello,

I've downloaded ICC profiles, and have found them listed in finder, and in ColorSync Utility for a MacOS Big Sur.

I've attached screenshots.  The .icc files that I have downloaded and see in Finder and Colorsync also do not have the gaumt icon - not sure if that's one of the problems, that my laptop cannot read the file?

They show in ColorSync, but I do get an error message for some when I "verify" and "repair" in which case I have restarted my entire computer, installed all updates, and also did a soft restart (holding shift until login appeared).

So, the profiles show up in the Colorync Utility and in the finder, where is it that you are unable to see them?

You wrote that your laptop can't read the file - what file?

Where are you looking for them in Photoshop? In Assign Profile, Convert to Profile, Proof Setup, the Print dialog box…?

The profile folder name includes the word GRACOL and SWOP, which suggest that they are CMYK profiles, so from that we can assume that these profiles will appear only where CMYK profiles can be used. For example, they should appear if you are setting a CMYK working space in Color Settings; but if you are in the Print dialog box and have selected a printer expecting RGB data (such as a common photo-quality inkjet printer), it would be correct for these profiles to not appear in the Printer Profile menu in the Print dialog box.

Thank you for your additional direction, it was the color mode not being the same as the ICC profiles that was the issue. This has been resolved.
