I have windows 10 pro
It was some work to get the photoshop version I am used to - Id like to install a newer version yet keep the version that I have 21.1 ? Is that possible ??
How do I install multiple versions of photoshop ?? Or can it. Must I use the creative cloud to install photoshop now ? At one point I did see that I could have multiple versions of photoshop on the same machine.
When installing, you get a checkbox to "Remove old versions". This is checked by default! So you need to make sure you uncheck it.
You can have as many versions installed as you want. They're all independent from each other. The only thing you need to keep an eye on is the file associations. - which application opens any given file type as default. Only one PS version can hold file associations, and it's the last one you installed. However, you can change that in Windows Settings after install

Just adding to what D Fosse said:
You can keep a whole version number, but if you install a "dot" version of the same whole version, it will overwrite it.
For example:
XX.3 will overwrite XX.1 even if you uncheck Remove old versions., but XY.1 won't overwrite XX.1.
