if i change my year subscription to monthly subscription, do i still have to pay 50%?

i need help so much, im a poor student and i downloaded photoshop to make a school projects and i just find out i have to pay 50% when i cancel the year subscription. if i change it to monthly sub, do i still have to pay the 50% of the yearly prize? i dont have that much money so i really need help.

AFAIK, there is no monthly subscription. A subscription is always for a year, but you can pay monthly.

It depends of the country you're in in fact. Here in the UK we have monthly subscriptions (very expensive) , but I am pretty sure that you'll still have to pay the 50% because this fee comes as a clause for breaking your yearly contract. That said, the best bet is to ask customer service as sometimes they can help with that (no guarantees though)
One thing, you're a student, you get HUUUUUGE discounts by filling the student form.(By huge discoiunt I mean 65% off)
Let me know the country you are in, and I can give you the proper links and conditions (as a general rule, a state approved school or uni, and you don't have to study design at all!) Worth considereing.
