Good day,

Im IT officer for my school of design and recently our lecturers face some of minor problem when using Photoshop.

Currently we are using studio driver.

Our machine spec are

1. Lenovo P620

CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 3945WX 12-Cores 4.00 GHz

RAM: 32 Gb DDR4

GPU: RTX 3080

2. Lenovo P720

CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) Bronze 3106 CPU @ 1.70GHz 1.70 GHz (2 processors)

RAM: 32Gb DDR4

GPU: RTX 2080 Super

I have try several solution whcih is

-update the gpu driver

-set gpu to high performance

-try to change from studio driver to game ready and the result still same

-change Wacom to new model (they are using wacom for sketch in photoshop)

I have no experience dealing in Photoshop but currently try to help these lecturers.

I have attached the video for the reference.

Below are the conversation with the lecturer :

Lecturer said, "From 0:22 to 3:00 I was testing color picking with ALT key. Sometimes can sometimes can't, it's happen frequently.

From 3.05 to the end. I was testing from slow panning to fast. The files just freeze when I performance fast panning."

Go to Preferences > Tools... and uncheck "Enable Flick Panning" and "Animated Zoom" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem go away?

Hi

Try resetting the Tools

If that doesn't help, try a preference reset

On both machines? I read somewhere online that Windows machines with Ryzen have some slow down problems (my machine included). I can not replicate your issue but definitelly there are slow down issues. My Ryzen is 5 5600G in particular.
