Image Processor Pro - not showing in Bridge / Error / Ventura / "Photoshop is undefined"

Dear all,

I was a happy man for years with Dr Brown´s Services 2.3.1 running smooth - until it suddenly stopped working yesterday with the "ReferenceError: Photoshop is undefined" window popping up.

MBP 16" M1 Ultra / Ventura 13.5.2 / PS 24.7.0 / Bridge 13.04.744 -

Photoshop runs under Rosetta due to many non-M1-plug-Ins.

-I tried to uninstall / install 2.3.1 and 3.2.5 alike via Anastasiy and also tried several manual installs.

-Checked Macintosh HD/Users/UserName/Library/Application Support for the ominous "Image Processor Pro.xml" that seemed to cause trouble with other users. Its deleted.

-"Image Processor Pro.jsx" is correctly installed in the ROOT directory.

-Dr Brown´s Services is enabled in the Bridges settings ( twice - as it shows up two times )

-The Photoshop Beta that was running some for some weeks is now deinstalled.

-Images Processor Pro 3.5.2 accessible via Photoshop > Automate and works.

The results of the installations are somewhat mixed: sometimes Dr Brown / Images Processor Pro shows up in Bridge>Tools.. ( but does not work: Photoshop is undefined ) - sometimes there is neither Dr Brown nor Image Processor Pro

Somehow I´m running out of ideas about what´s going wrong here - so any helping hand is really appreciated!

Cheers - panicking - Steffen

Hi Kevin, running PS in Rosetta all the time.

Solution is the sequence of installation. First Bridge - then PS.

So in case somebody runs into the same issues: uninstall PS ( hit the "keep" button for your prefs and actions when uninstalling via Creative Cloud ) - then install IPP - then install Photoshop. So PS can register itself in the Bridge.

Yikes - that was a funny afternoon.

Is there a way to goose this without fully uninstalling Photoshop? I feel like there is/should be, but I can't find it. On Windows if it affects the answer. Something about temporarily installing Photoshop public Beta has goofed up the connection between Bridge and Photoshop 2024, only in that Image Processor Pro doesn't show in the Tools > Photoshop menu in Bridge. IPP runs fine from WITHIN Photoshop, I just can't trigger it from Bridge. I have several plugins, etc. where uninstalling Photoshop is a bit drastic and daunting.
