Importing video to Photoshop is not working (macOS)

Question for the people that know more then me on photoshop. And there is alot of you. Lol

I'm having a problem adding a video to photoshop.
I've tried mp4 then converting my video to, mpeg4, AvI and mov but nothing is working
Drag and drop doesn't work or importing 🤷🏽‍:male_sign:😵💫

Please help. 🙏

Which version of  Photoshop and macOS are you using? How are you importing apart from drag drop?

Do you get any error messages?

Thank you. I'll check out the video tomorrow. 

I have the latest version of photoshop. 

MacOS Big Sur 11.6.6

I've tried drag and drop. Important and just open new and the mp4 is not selectable. 

See pic for error message. 

I really appreciate the help.

Unfortunately nothing form the link you sent me has worked. I've tried a
few different formats. And my photoshop doesn't have a "video layer" in the
layers menu for some reason. I have photoshop 23.3.2

The message comes up saying Photoshop does not recognize this file format.
But from everything I read online Photoshop recognizes those and many more.

Just did last night.  And a... surprisingly it worked 😐

I just got this version of photoshop about a month and a half ago. I wasn't expecting there to be am update haha. Oh goodness..
