Incorrect operation

When opening Photoshop the main menu with the latest documents does not appear, now the documents have to be opened through the "Recent Documents" menu. Neural Filtres crashes on startup.

Echo that, I kept getting an alert pop up - something along the lines of  'error while executing task queue Item'. That hasn't been happening for a few days, I just get a blank screen.
