Installed Fonts Not Working

I downloaded some new fonts and when I tried to use them in Photoshop, I got this error. The fonts work in other apps on my mac. How can I resolve this issue?

@Truman32624534g2om what format are the fonts? OpenType, Type1, etc. Are these licensed?

@Kevin Stohlmeyer they are TrueType fonts. They may be licensed, some of them I downloaded directly from a  consumer website. But others I downloaded from google fonts. Are those fonts usually licensed?
