Hi all,

Is it possible in Photoshop to pull assets programmatically from the library into a document via VB or JS scripting?

Thanks!

If one can’t find documentation or examples for tasks in Photoshop-Scripting one can use ScriptingListener.plugin to see if meaningful code is recorded when one perorms them.

Have you done that yet?

What is the point here anyway?

Could exporting the Library suffice?

I misunderstood the intention of the request.

Have you recorded the AM-code for placing a Library-object yet?

I suspect you may have to evaluate the LIBS in your user library.

Not sure how well that would really work out, you may have to experiment some …

I guess I may have over-thought/misinterpreted the issue; if it is only about one specific item then evaluating the LIBS is naturally not relevant …
