Is there a way in photoshop to apply pattern overlay in perspective?

I am working on an interior shot where I need to extend the wooden floor a bit, but if I do it using the pattern overlay or pattern fill I cannot put it in perspective so it matches the floor's perspective... is there a way to do that?

You have to pack the pattern into a smart object and transform the SO.

You can use "Vanishing Point" to define a perspective plane that corresponds to your current extent of wooden floor. Within this feature, you can then clone and patch some more wooden floor, which will follow the same consistent perspective convergence and foreshortening.
