Is there a way to digitally log the "history action list"?

I scan and retouch photos  and have a work flow for a certain type.  I want to copy it without writing it down.

Is there a way to do this?

Yes in photoshop you can go to Edit>Preferences>History Log (windows) or Photoshop>Preferences>History Log (mac)
