My work requires working with multiple artboards. The issue is that whenever I move layers between artboards, Photoshop freezes, sometimes briefly and sometimes for longer. I'm guessing this is not normal.
My work system packs a 10700K, 64 GB of RAM, and an RTX 4070ti. I believe it's a decent rig, and I'm sure it's not the cause of all this. Maybe I missed a setting?
Searching the web didn't help. Posting here is my last resort.

Yes, it happens with artboards of all sizes. I usually work with 1080x1080 documents and mostly 3-5 artboards.
Turning off 'GPU Compositing' seems to have fixed it for now. I'll try working on more documents and will post back with the result.
Thank you so much, Sameer.

Hey, @mustafa_bepari. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System Info> Copy and paste it into a text document, then upload and attach it here.
Does this happen with documents of all sizes? How many artboards do you usually work with?
Try this:
Go to Photoshop > Settings (CMD/CTRL + K) > Performance > Advanced Settings > Disable 'GPU Compositing' & restart Photoshop.
Check if it helps & let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this. The Scratch disk is set up on an X driver with about 60 GB of free space. Depending on the number & sizes of documents you work on, the scratch space can get used up pretty quickly.
