Jagged/ Staircase lines with brush tool :(

Hi,

My brush only draws jagged lines (using Wacom Cintiq 13' with pen) and the lines as well as the "layer 1" button turned red.

The lines are fine when they're completely horizontal or vertical but can't do diagonals or curved lines.

I reset all the tool settings and restarted the Mac and photoshop several times with things only getting worse.

Please help!

Thanks,

Luca

The brush is 'snapping' to your grid lines.  turn off the grid, or turn off snap.

Yes Thank You! I had the same problem and it was drving me nuts. Turned off grid and snap and it was gone.

I checked again with just grid on and no stair stepping. With snap on it came back regardless if grid was on.

Thanks again you made my day.
