Please help, I have followed every fix I can find.  At some point today any new files I download in any format will not open I get an error. When I perform fixes, downloading camera raw, changing file name, etc etc it just says programme error. It worked fine earlier today, I am on a trial and I am not finding this a very good editing tool at this stage. I am unsure why after about 5 fixes I've found nothing work?

please help, thanks.

I have tried everything on the recommended list, I am probably going to have to seek another programme.
