Keeping vintage printing quality with generative expand?

Most of the work I scan and need to make adjustments to in Photoshop is vintage printed materials from the 1920's - 1980's. As such, I need to keep the traditional rosette peinting texture of the original image while using the generative expand tool.

Are there any tips to keep this level of detail in the newly generated sections? Right now my images are expanded in a distinctly modern and blurry/photographic appearing way.

It seems like a small detail, but it is quite obvious in any image printed larger than my hand.

Can the AI be instructed to make colors out of rosettes of pixels more similar to traditional printing methods?

It has the shades and shapes correct, but overall is still distinctly not right to the eye.

I have uploaded a screenshot of the border of one of these areas.
