I work from home and remote into my work PC. Can anyone tell me how to set up keyboard shortcuts on my laptop at home that remotes into my PC at work that has all my Adobe Apps on it? My laptop doesn't recognize my keyboard shortcuts for (F1) "select inverse" and (F2) "cut". Going into the keyboard shortcuts menu doesn't seem to get me anywhere.

Hi @craigartzner

I don't know if this is a "remote into work" issue or a "laptop keyboard" issue.

Try pressing the Function key (fn) at the same time as F1 or F2. If that works, find the place in Windows where you can toggle the function keys to be the standard function keys or not. I know where this is on a Mac, but not on Windows. It's the first thing I do when I get a new Mac.

EDIT: Changing the function keys on a Mac is part of macOS. On Windows, it is not part of the OS — it varies depending on the manufacturer of the laptop.

I was facing a similar issue with all my adobe apps. After trying out every possible solution on the internet (including reset preference,  change keyboard language etc etc), what worked for me was in your remote desktop agent app( installed on your Mac) goto-connections-keyboard mode - select SCANCODE. NOT unicode. I must have hit a shortcut accidently at some point to change that setting. Hope that works for anyone coming here with a similar issue in 2024.
