Cuando selecciono la herramienta de selección marco cuadrado me sale un óvalo. Estoy haciendo algo mal?

Not sure I understand your issue but have you checked the Feather setting for the Marquee Tool

If it's not that, can you post a screenshot of the Photoshop interface with all the pertinent panels opened
