I haven't been in PS for a few month. I have just upgraded to V25.9 and I am getting serious lag when zooming and using free transform, it's making it unsuable. I have 32gig or Ram and RTX 3090 so photoshop should be running fine. Anyone else encountering this issue and have a fix for it?

Hey, @JM79. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

Does the problem exist if you use Photoshop 25.9.1 Are you working with multiple displays?

Try these steps:

1 - Go to Edit > Preferences (CTRL + K) > Performance > Advanced Settings > Disable 'GPU Compositing' & restart Photoshop & check if it helps.

2 - If you're using any plugins, press & hold the Shift key while launching Photoshop to skip loading plugins & check if that helps.

Let me know if it helps. Thanks!
