Large files causing display errors

Kia ora all,

I've started using some particularly large and heavy templates (1GB ish) and have done so for a few days. Recently when Photoshop decides it's had enough, it glitches the screen in a way that I can no longer use it. I have downloaded the Program Error tool but because there isn't an error and sometimes it suddenly crashes, there is no error to report. Image down below

I have been having some serious issues with the 3050 clock speed drama that's going on but it hasn't affected Photoshop until now.

Note that I also cannot save the file again and any "Save As" requests aren't executed. While I can go through the process of saving, no file is actually saved.
