Hi， a large (1.6GB) PSB file can not be shown in Photoshop. If I switch the layers, the image will flashed by only for 1 second.
But you can see preview of PSB in finder.
System: macOS Monterey, version 12.5.1
Photoshop: latest upload 23.5.0 release
Thank you for support in advance.
If you disable GPU in your preferences, any difference?
Hi, thanks a lot for the infos, problem solved! 🙂
If turning OFF GPU works, it's a GPU bug and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it. This is why disabling GPU is an option as more and more functionality moves to the GPU in newer versions of many Adobe products. Also see: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-cc-gpu-card-faq.htmlhttps://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/acr-gpu-faq.html
Thanks for the info. I will look into it.
PS. The file cannot be displayed when it is in RGB mode, convert it to CMYK, it works.
The bad news is, on a Mac, GPU bug fixes are part of the OS so there's not much more you can do.
Ideally, you want GPU on for speed but again, you might have to disable it just to get the work done.
painful to experience it as MAC user! Thank you.
