Last Photoshop version is so buggy

Hi,

Since last version upgrade of Photoshop CC i face an inportant amount of display bug.
Most of the time i have to restart system to get rid of the bug (really friendly to use).
In 20 years of photoshop use i never seen a so buggy version ...

Today i open a PSD file and despite it's opened (i see layers and everything) nothing appear in center 😕
On many other documents i had display bug when guides display are on ...
Working like that is a real pain !
Why Adobe don't test more before publishing a new version ?
Are we paying to be beta-testers ?

Later the same day, Photoshop crashed my computer as i try to open the same file ...

Photoshop, or any other application, cannot crash your operating system. A buggy driver called by an application can cause such a crash. Given your description of display issues I would start with the display driver and ensure a clean install of the latest driver. If your GPU is Nvidia use the Studio driver which is better tested with applications such as Photoshop.

You can also try going to Preferences - Technology Previews and checking Deactivate Native Canvas which will reduce the GPU functionality used by Photoshop.

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings.

As for this display issue, try disabling GPU in preferences, better?

20 years ago, PS did a lot less and didn't use a GPU so there's that bit of history.

Thanks for anwser.
To be true since i reverted to v22.5 i have no more bugs so it's perhaps more than a driver problem.
And i have last Nvidia drivers? But i have game version cause i work a bit in this sector 😉

3 months later, i just gived a try to the last 23.3 update and it crashed my system ... again ...

I can't attach dump file but i can send it by email or something else to someone at Adobe if it can help to solve this ...

On my last try, 3 weeks ago it crashed graphic drivers when i tried to open a file.
This time it crashed when i tried to save file for web.
In the same time i still use v22 and i almost never had problem ...

Exactly same issue here , Win 10 , GTX 1070 8G , had to revert to the oldest available V22.2 to get a stable program.
Mine had flickering windows when opening font selection , preferences , or whatever windows , then freezes the program , had to Alt+Tab to unfreeze.
Spent about an hour with support which reverted from last version to an older one and finally disabled my GPU in the perfs preferences ...
Really upset for the price ...
