Layer style

I can't apply layer effects that are not from the preset. If I click Fx everything stops and I can't use anything anymore The only thing that works is Ctrl+ Alt+ Delete and to start all over. 

It is not possible to make a style of my one

what is the version of your windows? and which photoshop version? 

have you tried to uninstall and reinstall??

Ik werk met Windows 10 desk top. Ja ik heb de Photoshop versie 2021( up-date 2021-03-16) Adobe Photoshop Identety Background.

Ik kan nog steeds geen laagstijl gebruiken. Het programma loopt vast van zoda ik klik op fx of laag- laagstijl of dubbel klik naast de naam in een item in lagen. het springt op een "hanje" en enkel met Alt+trl+Delete kan ik er uit.

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Ik heb de laatste update geïnstalleerd van Photoshop en alle vorige zijn weg EN ik kan nog steeds geen laagstijl gebruiken. Photoshop loopt vast.
