layer visibility toggle icon blue ??

Can someone please tell me why some of the layer visibility toggle buttons are blue?  Thanks.

You can right click on the visibility icon to change the colors yourself. It's just a way to mark layers to find them or organize them easier.

Thanks.  I ask because this is not something I knowingly did myself.  Good to know.
