Legacy Extensions Greyed Out in Photoshop 25.0 Settings

Hi all,

Just got a new 2024 macbook bro today with an m2 max chip. Using photoshop 25.0 (maybe this is the issue?)

I installed the Pantone Connect plugin (worst thing adobe ever did) and easily added it to Illustrator. However, when I went to add it to Photoshop, it wasn't there. Normally I'd go to "Window > Extensions" and it would be there to add. I figured this could be a preferences setting but when I went to the "Legacy Extensions" tab it's greyed out.

I need Pantone Connect to be able to do my job so this is really a big issue for me.

Wondering if anyone has experienced this as well or knows a fix??

Hi @zachs83755245 first - misplaced blame. This is all Pantone's doing - not Adobe.

Second- You'll need to run Photoshop in Rosetta mode as the Pantone Connect Plugin is not M1/2 native yet.

Fixed. Thanks Kev.

Still think the blame could probably be shared in this. Both companies are greedy, and together put out a sub par product for us to use.

@zachs83755245 normally I'd agree but this was all 100% Pantone - both in the decision to break ties with Adobe and then release their own sub-par solution.

Sub par alright. I just found out now "Extensions" under "Window" in Photoshop 2024 doesn't seem to be there. I can not get Pantone Connect to work in Photoshop. For years have gone into the picker to quickly match a cmyk value to Pantone, can not do now. All Pantone libraries are gone even though I have Pantone Connect.
