Since "3D" has been disabled on PS I can't use lighting effects to add some gloss to the image of a tile I am working in. What am I supposed to do now? Gradients don't give me the same control and look.
You can install and run PS 22.2 and run both 22.2 and the current version. Choose not to delete other versions when installing. Details here:

First back up any customization (actions, brushes, etc.)
In Creative Cloud, click the 3 dots on the far right and choose "Other versions"
From the next list choose 22.2
