This is the error I'm getting using Liquify on a smart object. I'm using a MacBook Air M2 10-core GPU with 16GB of RAM. I've followed all the help  I can possibly find and nothing works. the color mode is RGB. Liquify works just fine on images, it's just when I create a masked smart object. I got it to work once and it was laggy. The hardware should handle no problem. Any help?

Do you mean Photoshop is throwing error message only when your Smart Object layer contains mask attached to layer? I see no problem on Windows running Ps 24.5.0.

This is information, not an error.

It just says it would work better if it was an RGB file.
