a few days ago I started Photoshop. To my surprise I saw that all my preferences were different. Also, all my presets (gradient maps, etc) and actions are gone. How do I get everything back? I have tried a few things but nothing has worked so far.
Turn off automatic updates. A new version starts with all fresh preferences including actions and presets - unless you save them out so that they can be easily reloaded.
If you still have the old version installed it will all be there.
