Lost all Photoshop Actions

i got an error message when i started up tonight and lost all of my photoshop actions. cant get through to anyone in tech support and its normally very easy to troubleshoot. not sure what is going on. i keep getting matched with the same agent who doesnt reply.

What was the error message?

Were you saving your Actions Sets (folders) every time you made a change?

@jane-e already asked about saving Actions, but just to make sure:

Were unsaved Actions affected – did you create Actions without ever saving the atn-file to contain them?

i had the same issue yesterday, thankfully i have all my actions saved. When i opened photoshop, only default actions were loaded.

@ashleyn26995277 – As has been mentioned, always save your action sets to .atn file. If you haven't done so, the only hope of recovering them is possibly from an earlier version if you have multiple versions installed or from a system backup. More here:
