Lost layers / Crashed File

New Here ,
Nov 17, 2019 Nov 17, 2019

Hi ...can anyone help. Have been working for a couple of days on a file. Saved it before I went out and put my laptop to sleep (maybe put my laptop to sleep whilst the document was still saving I'm thinking) Came back to a strange green screen and computer crash. I now go into my document which had mulptiple clipping layers and just see this:

All layers disappeared.

However the document still appears to be the same size as per the below:

I've opened other files and they seem to be fine.

Anyone know how I can get my work back ? Hoping I've just inadvertently changed some settings or something but fearing the worst.

Thanks,

Tim

PS no need for any reminders about the need to backup work etc thanks !!

I would advise you to enable autosave recovery files in your photoshop preferences then. To protect yourself for this problem in the future.  You never know when you machine may crash.
