Lost pull down menu for Pattern Overlay

hi, i'm using photoshop cc 2014, and all of sudden my pattern toolbar has narrowed down so much that i cant access the patterns, it only shows the one recently created. The setting is on large thumbnails but its extremly narrow that i cant aceess any patterns.

I would reset the photoshop preferences by going to Edit>Preferences>General, clicking on Reset Preferences On Quit and restarting photoshop.
