mac system os dialogs not visible. Will respond to escape or return but cannot see the dialog

Mac OS 12.5.1 Photoshop 23.5.0

Mac Studio with M1 Ultra, 128gb Ram.

 

save and close diaglogs, printer settings dialog is invisible but has keyboard focus.

Could it be the display resolution? Try a vastly different resolution and move the dialogs to the center of the display, then reset to the resolution you prefer; better?
