Hello. I have a large PDF file that is very clean and I would like to make it appear a bit grainy, as if it had been photocopied. Is there anyway to accomplish this in Adobe Photoshop and if I can apply the effect would there be an easy way of batch processing a 3000 page PDF? Thanks!

Please provide a sample pdf.

Noisy Pattern Layers with an appropriate Blend Modes over a Smart Object (possibly with Smart Filter/s) might work out.

Great suggestions, thank you. Here is a sample. Would there be a way to apply this technique to a large pdf in a batch processing mode or something?

One could create an Action or a Script to be used in Batch or Image Processor.

Under Filters, does the Photocopy filter not do what you need?
