Match Font type tool malfunctioning majorly

Take a look at the screenshot.   Pretty sure the font is Avenir.  Look at the options it gives.  Out to lunch.

Yes, one line does the same.  I'm just letting someone know as this is a problem that has been known to adobe for a long time.  If it can't identify font, fine, take it out.
