Merging/Blending interior pic from focal shift and different exposition pictures

Hi All!

So I thought it woujld be smart to merge 3 pics not only with different sharpnes but also different exposition. So I did - and the easiest way to merge it was to adjust layer opacity and fill to get best results. But in my case - alhou ok, it looks bit hazy. Saw some videos on youtube but didn't really get the jist of how would be the easiest way to merge those 3 pics into one. Objective is - to have sharpnes in every stage of the pics, as much as details, saturation and all. I can send those pics if it's possible here as well if needed. Ps 22.1.1

I did use auto align layers already. But when trying to use auto blend layers - there is no joy. Probably focus breathing or something makes it hard for the right algorithm .

Cheers

The Masking for the two similar images is automatic (Edit > Auto-Blend Layers), the Masking for the dark exposure is manual. (plus a Blend If-setting)

Those three images seem unfit for focus stacking because the settings were so brutally different and unfit for HDR merging because of the changed focus.

But the two images that are actually similar seem to more-or-less work out with »Auto-Blend Layers«, I would recommend masking the third manually afterwards.

Thanks. That looks better then my leyesr approach, less foggy, but still not there yet i think. I still have problem in understanding masking and using masking - as this is what you used there no? Cheers
