Migrating to new PC -- which PS folders to backup?

Community Expert ,

More out of necessity than choice, I'm moving to a new workstation.  But before I do, I want to ensure that I have all my Photoshop preferences, actions, workspaces, brushes, etc... backed up on an external drive.

Any & all tips are welcome.

I did this last year. Checking the folder I'd copied to my desktop, I see I saved Patterns, Gradients, Custom Shapes, and Workspaces. It went smoothly, although I have occasionally had to boot up my barely running old computer to copy some .PSPs for Curves and some other things I'd missed. I can still do this after deactivating Photoshop on my old computer, and disconnecting it from the Internet. Photoshop still runs, as do some older versions I stil have. I do no production with these, but sometimes will check how things used to work.

Thanks for the tips.  I appreciate it.  😁

Not sure how much longer my old machine will keep running. It's making really loud noises. 🤒
