When I start to open my licensed copy of Photoshop CS6 I get an error message that Adobe Application Manager is missing or damaged. The url the message says to download AAM does NOT WORK! Where can I download Adobe Application Manager and how do I install the new file., etc? I do not want the Creative Cloud version - Photoshop CS6 serves my purposes just fine. But, I do need HELP in getting back into my licensed Photoshop CS6 software. I use Windows 10. Path to old Adobe Photoshop CS6 is: Windows C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 bit)

*This does not work for me! *
When I try to sign in and input my Photoshop CS6 serial number it comes
back with the message: "This product is already in use" and I can not
get beyond that page.
I bought Photoshop CS5 years ago and upgraded to Photoshop CS6 several
years ago also when I had a different computer and also, I think, I
probably had Windows 8 at that time. I now use Windows 10. Since then
CS6 has worked exactly as it should.
I have spent upteen hours trying to locate where I can download the
"missing or corrupted Adobe Application Manager file".
I am wondering if I just reinstalled Photoshop CS6 from the original disks
if that would clear everything up???
Can you please HELP?

Hi Patti,
You can contact Adobe Support to have them reset the previous activation count allowing you to enter your SN.
Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and log into the site. Click the chat pod on the bottom right and type AGENT to get a real person who can help. Be patient 1:1 customer care puts you in a queue.
I would not recommend reinstalling as you may end up in the same situation after all the effort and updates are no longer available so you'd be downgrading to the base CS6 install.

@Patti Campbel30976332klpm the other thing to watch for is System updates. You should have auto updates turned off. Any Windows security update, patch etc for Win 10 has the potential to break CS6.
