my PS is locking up

every time I click on the tools on the left hand side I get a blue circle. then PS freezes. I have tried all the suggestions in the help section but nothing helps. I have tried reinstalling PS. and have gone back to an older version, has any one got any suggestions.

yes its been working fine for about 6 months. I contacted Adobe support and i think its now fixed he updated the driver for the graphics card

Mine has a similar issue since PS v22.5.0, and it only follows a night that I place my computer in 'sleep' mode instead of OFF.

Have you tried updating the graphics driver? If that doesn't work, try disabling the GPU altogether under Preferences > Performance...
