Neue Version 23.3 endet unmotiviert bei diversen Aktionen

Bei der Auswahl diverser Tools (Zuschnittauswahl umstellen; Pinsel-Untermenü etc) beendet sich Ps alleine und sofort. Bearbeitetes Bild ist einfach weg. Weiß jemand Abhilfe?

Sorry for writing in german. I do only use the german versions and do not
know the English Menu- and order-Names.

However: I can crash photoshop 23.3 whenever doing the same steps. AND: Your
Crash-Reporter does not show up,

Even after using “REG ADD
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CommonFiles\CRLog /v "Never Ask" /t REG_SZ
/d 0” in CMD-Mode.

When installing the previous version 23.2.2 all seems well.



Step 1: Ich entwickle/bearbeite eine RAW-Datei (Canon EOS) in Lightroom
Classic 11.3

(I am editing a canon-RAW-file in Lightroom classic)

Step 2: rechte Maustaste Kontext-Menü auf dem Bild; Befehl „Bearbeiten in“
und „In Adobe Photoshop 2022 bearbeiten“

(I change directly to photoshop by using context-menu edit
in photoshop)

Step 3: Das Bild wird in Adobe Photoshop 2022 Vers. 23.3 geöffnet.

(File opens correctly in photoshop)

Step 4: Auswahl „Freistellungswerkzeug“

(selecting crop-tool)

Step 5: Öffnen des Werkzeugs „Seitenverhältnis“ („Verhältnis“)

(change aspect ratio)

Step 6: Auswahl des Unterpunkts „1:1 (Quadrat)“

(try to select 1:1 square)

==> Jetzt endet das Programm Adobe Photoshop – OHNE Vorwarnung (wie ein
Aus-Schalter)

(photoshop stops immediately and without any warning; just as pulling a
plug)

==> Das Dialogfeld „Adobe Crash Reporter“ öffnet sich NICHT!

(dialog crash-reporter does not show up)

Der zusätzliche Hinweis in der Adobe-Hilfe, falls der Crash-Reporter nicht
öffnet, wurde befolgt.
Dies hat aber keine Auswirkung. Der o.g. Fehler ist reproduzierbar. Der
Crash-Reporter öffnet trotzdem nicht.

Nach Rückkehr zur Version 23.2.2 tritt der Fehler NICHT mehr auf.

I suspect it might be something related to a change for GPU compositing in 23.3 - If you go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop - does the problem still occur?
