Downloaded the new version of the photoshop; each time I try to lunch, it crashes.  I also reinstall and tried using the shift key - so as not to load the third-party apps, still the same result. I am using the Mac.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop 2022. Would you mind telling us which macOS you're using along with your computers configuration? Are you getting any error or crash report when Photoshop crashes during launch?

You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop manually using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences

Also, please ensure that Photoshop has the necessary permissions on your Mac by following the steps mentioned below:

1. Go to the System Preferences for your Mac, then Security and Privacy, then select the Privacy tab.

2. Then select Accessibility from the list to the left & check if Photoshop is added to the list with a check mark in front of it.

3. If Photoshop is not a part of the list, please add it by unlocking the window first using the lock at the bottom left, then clicking the + icon & navigating to the Applications folder.

4. Also, grant permissions to Photoshop under Full disk access located in the same list as Accessibility.

5. Once done, restart the Mac & check if it helps.

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj

Thx. Got it fixed as I had to reinstall without bringing the old
preferences!

I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system.

If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

You might be seeing this issue, but without a crash report it's hard to tell: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/p-crash-on-launch-photoshop-23-0-macos/idi-p...
