when doing any kind of layer,sometimes it shows in the small edit screen,never in the main display screen and the image at the home page files  display is faded looking as you can see in the middle of the screenshot,this is a screenshot of layer mask tutorial                                    2022-09-25 (2).png2022-09-25 (1).png

No offense, but if you're really working at this resolution then good luck. This does not look at all like it meets the minimum requirements (https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html) and as such of course there will be all sorts of issues with hardware acceleration and UI drawing. You can try to turn GPU acceleration off in the preferences or take the other route and update your system's graphics driver and configure your screen suitably, but honestly, I have serious doubts it will improve anything given the circumstances.
